About the DGA
Founded in 1983, the Democratic Governors Association (DGA) is an independent voluntary political organization organized to support the candidacies of Democratic gubernatorial nominees and incumbents across the nation.
The DGA also serves as the united voice for America’s Democratic governors and seeks to further Democratic policies and ideals at the state level. The DGA is comprised of all governors in U.S. states and territories who belong to the Democratic Party.
